        There are a number of facets to develop in
        your product in order to justify premium brand
        positioning. Start by reminding yourself of the
        outcomes of your market and customer analysis
        derived from completing  Topic A. Ask yourself,
        what are the needs of those customers and are
        they being currently fulilled in the best possible
        way by competitors?


        Once you’ve identiied a number of opportunity
        spaces in the category, you will then need to
        explore the capability of your ofering to meet
        those needs. You will need to understand the
        types of ingredients required as well as the
        processes that can be used to develop a unique
        new product to service this opportunity. Key steps
        to follow in the development of products of a
        superior quality are as follows:



        •  Accessing brewing & distilling expertise


        •  Sourcing of quality ingredients

        •  Developing unique recipes
