The Halo Business Angel Partnership, managed by Dublin Business Innovation Centre
(DBIC) aims to pre-screen investment opportunities in the start-up, early stage and developing
business phases of operation. There are also a number of other regional Business Innovation

Angels Investors, also known as “informal private investors”, are private individuals who
invest capital in companies during the early stage of development. Usually, investors have the
following credentials to help arm themselves in the dynamic world of early stage business
investment:
• a strong commercial track record & excellent business credentials
• capacity to invest and time/patience to invest in new start ups
• ability to identify commercial opportunity
• established links and relevant industry contacts.
