      (ii) BUY

      When seeking a suitable contract brewer or distiller, you need to take a number of
      factors into account. This checklist will help you start the process but please note it is not
      an exhaustive list:


      •  Generate a list of potential partners taking into account membership of Origin Green. This
         will be essential in maximising state supports available to your business.

      •  What’s the length of contract that you require, is it  long or short term?

      •  What will be their minimum and maximum production runs for your purposes?

      •  Do they have storage facilities (bonded) available as part of the contract arrangement?
      •  What are their quality standards and can they meet your requirements?

      •  Do they have the ability to produce liquid compliant with relevant technical iles and recipes
         speciications that you might have?

      •   Can your customers or their audit team visit the facility?
      •  What formats of packaged product can they handle.

      •   Do they have the ability/capacity to produce seasonal oferings and limited editions?

      •   What is their lead time from order in to shipment out?
      •  Are you a big or a small customer to the contract facility ? Will this impact on availability of
         your product, relative to their other production?
