Leveraging Trade Fairs & Networking Events

Marketplace International is a unique trade event bringing together 500+ buyers and 180+
Irish exporters in a single venue. Buyers come from the 45+ countries and cover all categories
of the food and drinks industry. The event is constantly evolving but to date, has taken the
form of a speed-dating, meet-the-buyer exercise and more than 3,700 meetings took place at
the most recent iteration in 2015.

All export-capable client companies of Bord Bia are canvassed for participation in the event.
Participation in a comprehensive training program in advance of the event is one of the criteria
