Leveraging Trade Fairs & Networking Events
The other critical element to scaling up your business successfully is to expand the key
partnerships in your business, especially in the context of international growth. Focus on the
relationships with distributors and key customers in your new markets, those that will enable you
to access new consumers, channels & key outlets.
To identify new partners internationally, you must build on the information you have gathered
so far. You will need to build your knowledge of the target consumer and your competitive set in
these markets as well as your market speciic pricing tree.

It’s essential that you target the ones that you feel best it your export expansion plans i.e.
they focus on distributors and customers that you want to target for your chosen market(s).
