What should it address?

A compelling business plan needs to address the following key messages in order to win
support from stakeholders. It must give a very real sense of the path you’ve chosen to
success:

• Describe your business and brand’s USP and state why it will succeed

• Demonstrate that a market exists for the goods or services you will ofer through
research & size of prize

• Deine your strategy for accessing the proven market through the customer
and consumer perspective

• Show how your business and high performance team will be organised and managed

• Explain your production and operations functions

• Discuss your costings, funding and key inancial assumptions in the business plan

• Lay-out your inancial statements: cash-low analysis, proit & loss account and
balance sheet, along with realistic inancial projections for the next 5-10 years.
