(i) BUILD - Understanding Distillery Capacity & Outputs
This example shows annual 9L case outputs at diferent wash still capacities. The capacity of
this irst still in the distillation process determines the amount of Litres of Pure Alcohol (LPAs)
produced at the end of the distillation process. These LPAs are then converted to 40% ABV
Bottles of Spirits (less 10% wastage factor incurred in the maturation process) for selling in the
marketplace. This example assumes a distillery working one shift per day, 5 days per week over
48 weeks of the year.
