(i) BUILD - Equipment Sourcing

The key to inding the right plant and equipment for your operation, whether it’s a brewery or
a distillery, is to liaise with a variety equipment suppliers, consultants and other stakeholders.
This will help provide you with a more rounded view of the various types of plant suited to your
speciic needs, and not just what someone wants to sell you from their own perspective. Visit
other distilleries and breweries and ask about their equipment choice and experiences.


Exhibitions and Conferences are another very valuable source of information and a worthwhile
way to meet with a range of diferent suppliers, designers and other contacts in this area of the
business.
